Geoff Sprang has been with Amgen’s Canadian affiliate since January 2001 and currently holds the position of Director, Corporate Affairs, which includes responsibility for reimbursement, government affairs, health economics, corporate communications, pricing & contracting and corporate accounts. Mr. Sprang has more than 20 years of experience in pharma/biotech product development and commercialization in Canada, ranging from start up to multinational enterprises. Prior to joining Amgen, Mr. Sprang worked Allelix Biopharmaceuticals and subsequently at Glaxo Wellcome. During this period he has held positions in areas ranging from basic research through clinical development and regulatory affairs. Mr. Sprang holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
